Been 2 months and have a raise that goes from soft palate and ends at top teeth. blue around area and no pain. hasnt changed since it first came. had a dentist to have a look and they said probs nothing but blue weird. dosent affect me ever. thought?

Blue discoloration is commonly associated with vascular growth. Without a visual examination and proper testing I cannot be completely certain, but it may be a sign of a skin cancer called Kaposi’s Sarcoma. I would recommend you see another dentist or Ear Nose and Throat specialist. An Oncologist may also need to be consulted as well.

Get a second opinion. It may just be trauma to area and a hematoma which does resolve slowly. If it is persistent or becomes larger seek the second opinion soon from an oral surgeon.
