A member asked:

If beer is a good source of magnesium and potassium among other elements, how does this cause deficiency? if someone with a good diet consumes beer, surely these minerals are surpluses or maintained regardless of the minor alcohol dietetic effect?

A person with good diet and drinking beer should not deficient in magnesium and potassium. If you have this problem, your doctor should send you to a kidney specialist because there are certain syndromes which can cause low Mg and K.
