A member asked:

Can taking steroids (example being dexamethosone) cause deficiencies in magnesium, potassium, sodium, b12, etc...?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is not taking steroids per se that could cause deficiencies, however the underlying illness for which you are taking this strong medication could result in deficiencies.
