I have benign pvc's. i supplement w/ potassium, mangesium, dont drink caffeine or alcohol. still get them. anything else i should be doing?

? More evaluation: I am presuming that these have been detected on some sort of EKG. If you were found to have low potassium, I'd recommend having it checked again after a month or so. The next step is often an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart). PVC''s can be treated with meds like beta blockers, but that is generally reserved for people who are having a lot of symptoms.

Benign PVCs: As long as you are asymptomatic during these PVC episodes and the P V Cs are not in sustained runs, no further actions needed. Supplements over the counter generally don't help this condition. It is a good idea to see a cardiologist for a cardiac work up at least once to rule out any cardiac pathology. Continue to cut back on alcohol and caffeine. Stay on a healthy diet and a 20 min cardio exerc
