It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It could be due to dehydration, try to see that he drinks enough water, as it is likely that he is losing water, along with glucose, in this urine. If that does not help it would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you and your father good health!
