: Not necessarily, unless you possess bilateral nerve root compression. Need to objectify and recommend EMG/ NCS to evaluate L5 vrs peripheral neuropathy. A long shot consideration is a LUMBAR stenosis, or compression of cauda equina, both unlikely based upon your posting.
