I am getting a deep gum cleaning. i get a regular cleaning every 3 months, but a periodontist saw more calculus than would be typical for less than 3 months since my last will there be a lot of blood from this? will it hurt? what is the recovery like?

Usually does not hurt. May get blood depending on state of gingiva. Recommend flossing.
