A member asked:

There are two pharmacies near me a block away with many available appointments for covid vaccinations. one pharmacy has pfizer the other modena. its literally my choice. does either pfizer or moderna perform better with the variants ?

Both are effective against the variants. The difference between Pfizer and Moderna. The Moderna is a bit stronger than the Pfizer and may have more of a reaction. Both are effective in preventing severe covid.

No real difference. Both of them are expected to provide superior protection against Covid-19 variants than Jansen vaccine does.

There is no significant difference between the two. Take the most convenient appointment for you regardless of which vaccine it is.
