Heart vs. lungs: A woman in her 50's with chest tightness can get checked by her doctor or perhaps the ER. She should not wait at home to see if the symptoms get better. It could be a serious heart or lung matter. If it turns out to be bad asthma, heart attack, collapsed lung, pneumonia, or blood clot in the lung, she will still be in the right place at the Emergency Room.
