Recently ive had a bad reaction to acne medication and my scabs have healed but im left with shiny pink skin. ive been covering both areas with petroleum jelly and gauze. now that i have new skin do i leave them uncovered and stop using petroleum?

New skin growth needs moisture and protection to mature. Keep using the petroleum jelly to avoid long term scars, and keep covered to avoid scratching or other trauma that can disrupt the new skin.

Hello ! I always had a very clear skin and never experienced acne but sometimes i get hard zits that i think are ready to pop and it is just water ,after i picked it became like a wound ,it had a scab and i removed it and i do not know how to heal!
What's the dark, tough skin around my acne scab? The red skin around the popped acne turned into a dark brown and the skin became tough to touch.
