Based on the type of polyps and your family history, findings on previous scopes, your current gastroenterologist would be best to make recommendations as guidelines keep changing. If having gi symptoms the focus will change to diagnosis rather than prevention and a colonoscopy may be recommended even if not due for prevention purposes.

Since you had polyps, a safe approach would be get a repeat colonoscopy five years after the first scopy. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
