What is the best treatment for chronic cough in senior male age 85. ? taking bp meds. oxygen level is good. no swallowing issues. tonsil area pain sometimes but treated with antibiotics. his mother had same issue at her old age. no continuous pain?

My first hunch is he has a cough from his BP Med(s). Ask if He is on an ACE or ARB or BETA BLOCKER. Discuss with his Dr what todo if he is.
