Sore throat: Possibilities include prolonged viral upper respiratory tract infection for which antibiotics aren't effective or infectious mononucleosis, although associated cough would be unusual. Nevertheless I recommend getting checked for mononucleosis and having another throat culture performed and holding off on antibiotics unless a pathogenic bacteria or yeast is found on culture.
