Tonsillitis???: Tonsils often have mild exudate-the white spots. If they are not swollen or sore I would not be taking antibiotics. Tonsils are fighting for you and unless swollen and painful, leave them alone. Check about your neck for symmetric tender glands. They should be small and not tender. If large and tender you may have a problem that could require a different antibiotic after a swab and culture.
