One is always at risk for DVT especially if taking BCP or smoker or you have a + Family History. But I would think the evel of sitting you describe puts you at increased risk. Keep going up and down on your toes 10 times every 30 min or so should be good. Set your phone to tell you to do if when siting, keep safe.

You may consider getting a standing desk that allows you work sitting or standing up. This way you could continue working and also prevent the stagnation that may come from sitting. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
