Get checked ASAP: Pulmonary embolism can occur during the first few days of anticoagulation for DVT. If in doubt, for sure get checked. As a first step, at least phone your doctor or the ER and ask their advice, but if you can't reach them and/or chest "heaviness" continues, for sure return ASAP.
