It is good that angiography showed no blockages. But, spasms of the blood vessels of the heart could cause your symptoms and could cause your stress test to be positive but angiography negative. You should see your cardiologist to see if this is a possibility-if so, it can be treated with medications. Best of luck to you!

You don't mention,your symptoms, if any or whether you have risk factors like positive family history, smoking,diabetes,high LDL or hypertension. Patients like these are often considered to have a false negative angiogram rather than a false positive stress test and on followup have more cardiovascular events than other people. Therefore stay in touch with your cardiologist going forward
