Have bug bites, used hydrocortisone and now have small rash like red bumps on the area. could it be i used to much? any recommendations? should i not apply anything more?

The rash may be inflammatory and the hydrocortisone may help, but if the rash is spreading or the lesions are enlarging, please see urgent care or your PCP. For uncomplicated insect bites, calamine lotion often may be useful. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, wheezing and difficulty swallowing. If these occur, see acute care management .
