What effect, if any, is the covid strain currently circulating in india expected to have on other countries, including the u.s.? our citywide mask mandate expires tomorrow even though not everyone is fully vaccinated yet. i am concerned?

Remember that most intelligent people with common sense will still choose to wear masks in risky situations. A Mandate is not needed for this. protect yourself by wearing a mask when you are in an area with lots of people, especially indoors. Wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer.
