Any infection can temporarily cause a chronic disorder to become more symptomatic, but a COVID-19 vaccine in the USA contains no attenuated live or dead virus, and have NO clue where you would find hearing loss associated with any of our vaccines. Yes, side effects are possible but the infection is far worse. Discuss all with your otolaryngologist. Consider any of the 3 available vaccines.

Several recipients of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have experienced sudden hearing loss, according to data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. When they do occur, the effects appear to be temporary. To date, however, there is no clear evidence that COVID-19 elevates the risk of the condition. Thus, I would say that if you are at all worried about this, take the J&J vaccine instead.
