A member asked:

Wasnt feeling well and my wbc was 2.5 (low). was repeated 2 weeks later and was 3.3 (low). it was then repeated another 2 weeks later and 3.0 (low). what could cause these to be consistently low?

In an otherwise healthy person, a low white blood cell count along with symptoms of not feeling well are consistent with a viral infection of some sort. Usually the predominant white blood cell is the lymphocyte in this situation but you should check with your primary doctor to investigate the type of viral infection this could be.
