Wbc was discovered to be low and repeated values showed its still low (dates and values: 4/15- 3.3, 4/27- 3.0, 5/11- 3.0). one year ago at physical it was normal (4.7). what could cause? 28 yr old caucasian male?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, a viral infection can depress WBC. If you do not have symptoms, you may watch and wait and repeat the test in 6-7 months. Wish you good health!
