Can a varicocele be on the testicle itself? i have vein-like structure on the right side of my testicle; sort of disappears as laying down. urologist wasn't concerned; said it was a enlarged vein. freaking out?

Good observation. Freak out no more! Veins on testicles are normal. They become smaller when you lay down because pressure in veins is lower and they do not distend as much. They likely help regulate the temp of your testicles at right temp for good sperm meetings.

Saw the urologist finally. During exam he said I had a double varicocele which is causing the testicular atrophy. It could also be causing the low libido and ed. Would surgical correction of the varicose veins in the testicle reverse the atrophy ?

I can feel my veins at back side of my testicle when i check and roll my two fingers up side down at the back of both testicle ? Is this normal to feel or is this varicocele?
