Diarrhea for 4 week since starting zoloft, prior to starting, i had and still have intermittent ascending colon pain (relieved after movements or flatulence) occasional pain around liver. do you think ibs type conditions rather than colon cancer?

Diarrhea is a mild adverse effect of Zoloft. Yes, your symptoms are more consistent with IBS than colon cancer, especially at your age. Most of the colon cancer cases are on the left side (descending colon).
