What should i do or take because my cheek is swelling because there is some inflammation in my gums. i can't go to the dentist yet because they are per appointment and next week is the available sched. hoping you can help me. thank you?

If your cheek is swelling it is a bit more than gingival inflammation... appears you have an infection which is spreading either from periodontal or endodontic origin. The dentist who you have an appointment with can either see you sooner as an emergency or prescribe antibiotics to help control the infection until you can be seen for treatment. All the best...

Your symptoms indicate a spreading infection. Call your Dentist and report your changing status. If they can not see you they may prescribe medication refer you to an Endodontist.
