A member asked:

Had transvaginal ultrasound done for pvb, found thickening of endometrium, have app to see gyno in next 4 months ,one of my groin lymph nodes is very swollen & hard, im scared that its from endometrial cancer ? should i book an another appointment?

The endometrium thickens as you move though your cycle and sheds during menses, only to start over and begin thickening again. The endometrium is the tissue layer that prepares to receive a fertilized egg & support a pregnancy. I read the wording as describing a normal finding. Endometrial cancer is not an issue at your age.
