I have a swollen rubbery lymph node in my left groin for three months that has grown a little bigger. i also developed another one above it. dr ran cbc, sti, and urine tests which were normal and now wants me to do ultrasound. is this likely benign?

Not enough: In guessing if benign or not and prior to a biopsy that will eventually seal the diagnosis, general symptoms such as fever or weight loss may help. Localized adenopathies or inflamed lymph nodes are commonly reactive to local infections.
