Hi there, i started with a mild bladder infection last night things got worse today i went to the chemist and fit medicine however now i have blood in my urine and passed a small clot, i have a constant urge to pee and burning when i urinate ?

UTI: This would be characteristic of hemorrhagic cystitis, most likely due to a bacterial infection of the bladder.Your physician may want you to get a urine culture and colony count and then start you on antibiotics even before the results are back in 48 hours or so. I have done this for many young female patients who generally have less serious urinary tract infections than males or older women.
