hard to tell: Cloudy urine with sediment may be an early sign of stone disease. More commonly, after a meal, urine is cloudy as the ph is elevated because of the increased stomach acid secretion. A visit with your doctor for a urine test may help.

Contaminated urine: Vaginal discharge can contaminate urine in females and upon spinning it down there will be a white cloudy sediment. This is not serious from renal standpoint but should be confirmed by examining the sediment under microscope, then refer the patient for further evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
