Im type 2 diabetic & my numbers have really dropped recently (6.2) normally but do i take my metformin if my glucose numbers are 77-100? seems to low to take it? so im eating carbs before bed which is stupid - its working against my weight loss?

An A1c of 6.2 is very good for a diabetic. Metformin helps someone lose weight. A common question if my glucose is improving do I take the medication. If the glucose levels are above 70 and the patient has no symptoms, in general, there is no concern (this is not for all patients). If the medications lowered the glucose to normal levels-think about this-what will happen if one stops the medication
