Sinus tachycardia is usually due to another primary cause such as fever anxiety, an overactive thyroid etc etc. A detailed evaluation and testing may be necessary to determine its cause. At your age, and in the absence other symptoms, it may well be due to anxiety but this needs to be determined by your physician.
