Travelling by plane/bus/train, etc is safest when fully vaccinated. For the Pfizer vaccine, you are safe at 7 days after the second vaccine. For the Moderna Vaccine you are safe at 14 days after the second vaccine. You will still need to take precautions such as wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer after touching any high contact surfaces. You may also need a vaccine passport to prove vaccine.

You are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after your 2nd dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or 2 weeks after your single dose of the J&J vaccine. That makes it safer for travel;however, the CDC is currently not recommending nonessential travel as cases are increasing again, and variants seem to be possibly creating more of a risk.If traveling, still wear a mask, distance, and wash hands!
