Is a 14 year old safe to take the covid 19 vaccine? the 2 doses?

Please get both shots. Side effects are minimal and the protection against COVID is definitely worthwhile.

Doctors at NYU, Columbia, Cornell and Mt. Sinai are all giving COVID vaccine, to 14 year olds with two doses of Pfizer. This is for virtually all the patients we care for, including cancer patients, patients with autoimmune diseases and transplant patients. There is NO risk of sterility/infertility from the vaccine.

Yes! COVID-19 vaccine is available, safe, and found to be effective for children 6 months and older and adults. In the US, it is emergency use authorized for 6 months and up and fully authorized for 16 years of age and up (Pfizer); 18 years and up for Moderna. I encourage everyone who is eligible to be vaccinated and boosted! (July 2022)
