A member asked:

Can covid-19 enter body through skin cut and result in infection?

Never been documented. Virus usually enters body thru nose, mouth or respiratory tract. Skin is only involved insofar as the virus can be carried on fingers to nose then into body. Cuts (at any location) seem to have nothing to do with it.

I agree with Dr. Lentnek. COVID 19 can enter through some mucosal surfaces but not skin.
