Upper respiratory infections are mostly caused by viruses which are very contagious. Treat symptoms: Acetaminophen for headache/sore throat/sinus pain, decongestant for runny nose/nasal congestion, antihistamines for itchy eyes/nose and sneezing. Infections typically last 5-7 days.
