A member asked:

My daughter has been taking concerta 18mg during the school week once a day, she feels it's not working as it should and it only makes her "awake but not focused" and her memory is "worse". she takes zoloft as well. what should we do?

Medication use: She is NOT using Concerta correctly. Concerta is not a short acting stimulant. It needs to be taken every day to maintain correct blood levels. Please have her take daily. If it remains a problem after this correction has been made, then consult with prescribing physician. Take care.
