Good morning doctors. is there any research or information as to how much vaccine protection one has after just getting the first phizer or moderna shot? what about protection just before receiving the second shot?

After 3-4 weeks, one dose appears to be almost 90% as good as two doses. We don't yet know how long immunity lasts with one dose, and for sure everyone should get the second dose.
