A 37-year-old female asked about a female:
Baby just turned 1 (9/8)&at her doc appt today, the doc gave her 2 vaccines (mmr & varicella).he gave the injections in the upper buttocks, one on the left side one on the right side. i've never seen a baby/ toddler get a shot there. is this normal?

What you described is a normal site for injections, including vaccination shots. It is good that you are getting the baby vaccinated.
