Hi doctors. what is your opinion regarding travelling by uber it lyft and staying in a hotel approximately 2 and one-half weeks after getting the first vaccine, but not the second vaccine.....does it matter if the first vaccine is phfizer or moderna?

Some thoughts: Even after 2 doses you will need to be aware of contagion, sanitize hands regularly & wear a mask around strangers until we are well past this pandemic. You may have better resistance now after that period, but don't ever think you cannot become infected by this or other agents. The number of active cases in the sites you vis is also a relevant factor. Vaccine type does not matter.

I don't know what "Uber it Lyft" means. I think you will get some level of protection 2 1/2 weeks after mRNA vaccine. However, I still think it will be associated with risk if you will be around other people. If you elect to do this would social distance, wear a mask and wash hands often.
