Ive been having vertigo mainly at night & in the morning. will this resolve in its own? could i have an inner ear infection. i am 58, in good shape and healthy otherwise?

Unlikely to resolve on own. See an otolaryngologist, and get this tested. Suspect you are describing inner ear issues, but cannot exclude vascular problems in the posterior vertebral-basilar system, so would be helpful to have some imaging of blood vessels also.
