A member asked:

Is it true that whatever we eat such as excess sugar, soda and junk food during puberty or after we hit puberty will not stunt our height growth and we still can reach our maximum height?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This is a complex issue. If one consumes enough of the essential proteins/carbs/fats & vitamins in spite of other intake they may achieve their genetic height. If their diet avoids/excludes any of the necessary materials they can stunt growth. The degree to which this might happen depends on the degree of dietary deficiency.
