Specializes in Pediatrics - Developmental and Behavioral

After menarche, the : first period, a girl may grow another 2-3 inches. Your growth spurt happened before menarche. You're an adult, in medical terms. Request that your pediatrician send your records, including all growth charts to your new doctor for your visit. If there is a question about your having typical sexual maturation, you may be referred to an endocrinologist &/or have blood tests, both generic & hormonal.
