A member asked:

Is it true that excess sugar can stunt height growth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Indirectly, yes. All sugar consumed in excess of the bodies need will be converted into stored material as complex carbohydrates or fat. Fat over time will be a drain on the metabolism. Fat kids can fail to reach their genetic height.
