Initial treatments with waxing off hair removes the root, bulb and hair from the follicle space. This can result in irritation and thus bumps. In Subsequent waxing, the hair is finer/process is less damaging, thus the lessening of bumps. Acne on the body is typically not related to waxing, but due to plugged pores and bacteria. Try scrubbing your skin with a wash cloth using antibacterial soap.
