I have been experiencing excruciating pain on the palm of my right foot. the pain gets worse when i step or apply pressure on the foot. (i dont know whether its joints or muscles) this has been happening for the past 2 days. please help and advise.

Severe pain, sole of the foot can be caused by planter fasciatis. This should be confirmed by having a podiatrist examine you. An orthopedic or Foot specialist can also be the right doctor to help you. While waiting for doctor's appointment, use paracetamol 650 to1000mg, repeated at 6 to 8 hour intervals. Good luck.

I would think from your description this is a joint problem as there are very few muscles in the foot. Follow up with your PCP for further treatment.

Consider evolving neuroma, but get images even bone scan to assess potential stress fracture. CRPS might present this way but far too early
