Fear of the unknown is not uncommon. But as a young adult you're going to come across unknowns throughout your life. Discuss your dental issues and fear with your parents, then find a caring compassionate dentist in your area that will work with you to overcome your hesitation. Without treatment you can lose your teeth which I'm sure is not what you want.

Nothing to be ashamed of. You have a problem that needs fixing. Failure to do so can result in tooth loss or worse. Anxiety treatment recommended by competent m dental health professional once your emergency dental issue (fracture, decay, abscess, nerve necrosis among other causes) is resolved. Please show this reply to our parents and ask them to help you find the correct care.
