A member asked:

Is there a phobia for chewing after dental fillings? super nervous to chew on sides i had work done. dentist said there'd be no probs but i still fear

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anxiety: It is understandable to have some concerns and feel vulnerable after dental work. If you find that this fear continues and/or you have other fears that interfere with your lifestyle then it would be good to consult with a Clinical Psychologist for help with anxiety. Medication can be added to psychotherapy as well.
