Your question is not as easy as yes or no. There is no physiological withdrawal from medication, so that is not an issue. I am not sure why anyone would use this medication for a year. See your doctor

Actually its quite common for patients to use this medication for a year. Hence not sure why a severe tone was taken

No need to wean, just stop, at the end of the day its in the same family as ibuprofen/nsaids
