A member asked:

28female. left abdominal pain. 2.5 mm endometrial thickness. positive pregnancy with no visible ultrasound. trace free fluid in cul de sac nothing was explained to me and have to wait for follow up for a week complex lesion in right ovary as well?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If the endometrial thickness is "2.5 mm" and not 2.5 cm, it is normal for an early pregnancy. Negative ultrasound with respect to yolk sac and fetus is assumed by comment "negative U/S", but complex cyst in right ovary may require biopsy, however this may be postponed until pregnancy is completed, based on the decision recommended by your OB provider.
