Yes...: The studies on these vaccines show remarkable safety profiles. The potential side effects include pain at the injection site and flu-like symptoms-fever/chills, headache, body aches, fatigue, nausea, etc.-usually for a day or 2 and usually mild. There have been very few allergic reactions. COVID-19 is potentially life-threatening and the vaccine protects against severe disease. Good luck!

Vaccine safety: Side effects to both Moderna & Pfizer vaccines are usually both temporary & mild. Per CDC, to date, about 1 in 400,000 people had a severe allergic reaction to the 1st shot. I would say that is a pretty good statistic.

COVID-19 vaccine is available, safe, and found to be effective for children 6 months and older and adults. In the US, it is emergency use authorized for 6 months and up for both Pfizer and Moderna, and fully authorized for 16 years of age and up (Pfizer); 18 years and up for Moderna. I encourage everyone who is eligible to be vaccinated and boosted! (July 2022)
